i waited 20 years for the man i thought i was madddly n love with.....2-3 months in he cheated with his ex...when he was loosing everything including his home he thought it would benifit us both if he movd n.....that didnt happen i was choked out...bitten n my face had clothes n jewerly rippd off used and after many of his tears convinced he wanted us to b a family, that lasted long enuff for him to retriev his belongings....i have a epo in place, hes been arrested for assult 4th and felom in possesion of firearm...i can only imagine what was next for me im purging him outa my life daily and i hope u found ur inner strength....im still looking for mine we were supposd to be wed july 31 2010...hes on girl numbr 3.....imagine that....i hope this all catches up with him one day...until then i pray....4 u and all the others like us

I am very interested in finding out if you got out of that abusive relationship. I too was in an abusive relationship, I choose to get out of that because I had a beautiful daughter to look after. Never did I want to become a statistic. It has been almost 8 years since I left the father of my child, and it was the best decision that I made in my entire life. See, this is what gets me, the female always says that I love him, or I can not live with out him, hell you will not be living if you stay with him. It really pains me to see these young, beautiful, females with these no good, low-down dirty dogs. That beat on women because they are having issues of inadequacy, but prey on these women because they "love them", Ladies please you do not need a man to validate you like you are a car. First thing that I would suggest that you do is try to love your self, then if you love yourself and value your life you would get away and never return.

Ms. Simone I have to let you know this what is more important him having your heart or your life. I'm glad you found this website because you need not advice but someone to talk too. We can give you advice but if he have your heart like that no matter what we say you would have to want to change.I want to say this life is too short and if he hits you one time and god forbids kills you or put you in a coma that monster will be raising your children and amking them into monsters like him. I want you too look in the mirror and say to yourself am I that low in life that I'm accepting this crap from him. Or am I a beautiful woman who deserve more than what I'm getting from him. Simone you won't be beautiful no more if you keep taking the hits off him. Love yourself he is not worth it. Another thing look at those babies and ask yourself do I want my children growing up thinking a relationship is this. I can tell you this I was in a situation like yours and I loved that man to death but I woke up and cried and I realize those tears came from me not knowing who I was because I loved him so much I lost myself.It took a minute but I got my children and left. It was the best tears and choice of leaving I ever made. See if you can find DV shelters call 311 if you really want out. They would help you but you have to be strong to want out. Those shelters don't play there would be no contact to anyone.

This entry is for the young lady by the name of Simone Williams. My advice to you is to figure out loving someone who thinks of you as a punching bag or loving yourself enough to know one hit and he can kill you and then the monster will be raising your children. I know what it is like to love someone so bad you forget who you are and willing to accept anything just to say i have a man, but in the end I realize why am i loving this man that thinks so little of me. You have to come to terms with whats more imporant having a man or having life! I want you too look in the mirror and say to yourself am I that low in life that I have to accept this crap from this worthless man. I'm a beautiful woman but guess what if you stay you won't be beautiful no more.

I am pained to read this. But I know I'm not alone. My husband has abused me in every way for nine years. He is a criminal defense attorney and has kept me silent because who would ever believe that an officer of the court would do these horrible things. Finally a third party turned it in. I had called a physic to ask if I would even be living much longer. Now he uses every dirty trick to take my child and home. Constant harassment. Lies and some truth as during that period I did drink to escape. I had never been a drinker until having been raped in my late 30's and have not drank in five years but that matters not. The system helps but yet lets him drag me down. I stand tall when I can for my son but I feel alone. I don't know how anymore to be friends with anyone. It just wasn't allowed. I live in constant fear and just feel like something is wrong. I'm not getting wok e up with the belt or punched. It is weird to not want to find an empty house to crawl in for the night but to have my home without him for now anyway until the trial that he has held and threatened me with. He calls constantly no matter as he has permission to talk with our son but cares not to talk with him but only to threaten me or try to bribe me then back to threaten me. If I call an attorney every time the bill goes up and I can't pay already. SO.....I feel strange, relief, scared, useless, empowered, the full spectrum I guess.

my name is simone ,an im in a abusive relation ship now thats how i found this website..Im really clueless of how to leave,cus he have my heart...I have three kids..just the other day,i was punched 10 times in the face,my face is still healing now..i do not work an stay in low income in illinois..I seriously would love someone advise
